Mega-exit in Munich: Aconex buys Conject for 65 million euros

Mega takeover in Munich: The Australian company Aconex takes over Conject, a provider of software and services for construction project and real estate management. Aconex is paying €65 million in cash for the acquisition. The Munich-based company, founded in 2000, provides the majority of its services as software-as-a-service (SaaS).

Conject – Hidden Champion from Munich

The company claims that its applications are used by over 40,000 companies worldwide. The Munich-based hidden champion maintains offices in Atlanta, Auckland, Dresden, Dubai, Duisburg, London, Nottingham, Paris, Singapore, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, and Vienna. Seventure Partners has previously financed the Munich-based company. In 2013, Conject’s turnover was 20 million euros.
