The DICA Accelerator focuses on solutions that address the digitalization of logistics, production, and distribution, or sustainability in packaging and materials in the beverage industry. This year, an additional focus is on success monitoring, for example, in marketing or social media. The accelerator program is run by Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship operated by the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
DICA: From application to Demo Day in five months
DICA connects startups and established companies in a co-creation process. This helps new technologies and products find their way into the beverage industry. This supports established companies in activating their innovation potential, while giving startups the opportunity to accelerate their growth.
Interested startups can apply until May 2nd at the Program website Apply. Applicants will then receive feedback on whether they have been accepted into the program by May 26. Digital workshops to prepare for Matching Day will begin on June 13 and 15. The Matching Day with the corporate partners will take place on-site in Munich on June 20. This is where the participating startups and DICA partner companies will meet for the first time. The goal of the day is to explore the potential of collaboration. Over the next three months, the startups will develop innovative solutions together with their partner companies. These will be presented on Demo Day on October 10. There will also be a look at the contacts made through the program and the next steps.
