The Startup Champs competition is looking for Germany's digital health startup of 2023. Young founders working on innovative and technology-based solutions for the healthcare industry are given a platform here.
Healthtech startups can upload their pitch deck and a maximum 90-second application video until May 21, 2023. Following this, the preliminary round will take place: Three finalists will be chosen in each of the four partner cities (Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Cologne). These finalists will then meet for the grand finale in Munich on June 22, 2023. There, they will pitch to a jury of experts and investors. Munich will be represented this year by Tobias Wann, Managing Director of Xempus AG, took part.
All finalists will receive the opportunity to participate and have a small booth at the Bits & Pretzels Healthtech Conference, which will take place in Munich on June 20 and 21. Further prizes are to be announced.
Wirelane won Startup Champs 2022
Startups that were officially founded no more than five years ago by March 1, 2023, and have a registered branch in the economic region of Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, or Munich are eligible to apply for the "Startup Champs goes Digital Health" pitch competition. The startup's business model/products/services must demonstrate a clear connection to the focus topic of digital health and demonstrably pursue an innovative and scalable approach. Furthermore, a functional or demonstrable prototype or a feasible or demonstrable service must already exist.
Last year, the Munich startup Wirelane secured the title of German Startup Champion.
