These Unicorns are at the 1st Munich Startup Festival

The Munich Startup Festival will take place on July 19th at Backstage in Munich. Top-notch speakers, workshops, VC networking, and much more await visitors. For all readers who haven't yet checked out our dedicated festival website, here's a sneak peek at what the festival will offer.

The program for the Munich Startup Festival is currently undergoing final fine-tuning. What we can already reveal is that we are bringing you three Munich Unicorns On stage! In the panel, unicorns Celonis, Flix, and Personio will share insights into their founding stories. And maybe they'll even share their elevator pitch from back then. We'll talk about happiness and success, fear and goodbyes, and much more.

Flix, Celonis and Personio at the Munich Startup Festival

With Daniel Krauss You will experience the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Co-founder of Flix at the Munich Startup Festival. As CIO at Flix, Krauss leads the areas of technology and human resources development. Together with his co-founders, Krauss built the mobility provider into the largest long-distance bus provider in Europe and expanded the company globally in recent years. Therefore, he can share exciting insights from his founder's journey with festival visitors. Although not a co-founder of Celonis, he has been an employee from the very beginning. Remy Lazarovici of Celonis. He is now responsible for the entire business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at the Munich-based process mining company. The mathematician joined Celonis in 2012 as the first full-time employee and has held various leadership positions, helping to establish Celonis as a technology and market leader for process mining and execution management, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Also participating is Jonas Rieke, Chief Operations Officer (COO) and co-founder of Personio. As COO, Rieke leads the company's largest department: Customer Experience, the HR software provider for SMEs. His team ensures the success of Personio's 8,000 European customers and handles customer onboarding and support. He is also responsible for the company-wide goal-setting process through OKRs. He can therefore also provide insights into the corporate journey of this Munich-based unicorn.
