Onvy aims to merge artificial intelligence and digital health, enabling a new kind of personalized and predictive healthcare. The first result of these efforts is the app "Onvy – AI Health Coach." It aims to optimize physical and mental health management with the help of AI. To achieve this, the startup uses data from various areas, such as health, environmental factors, exercise, nutrition, and sleep, and compiles it into a holistic picture. This allows the health app to coach its users on how to lead a proactive and healthy lifestyle.
With Timo Baumgartl, player of the Bundesliga club Union Berlin, Onvy has already secure a prominent investorThe footballer was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18. He learned at a young age how important mental resilience and human health are. Baumgartl says:
"Since then, my mission has been to empower people to take control of their health and bring about a paradigm shift toward proactive and preventative health management—with the help of science and technology. That's why I founded the Onvy HealthTech Group."
Wort & Bild invests in Onvy
Now the Wort & Bild publishing group is also investing in the startup through its subsidiary Isartal Ventures. The publisher owns, among others, the well-known magazines 'Apotheken Umschau' and 'Medizini'. The amount of the financing is not disclosed, Andreas Arntzen, CEO of Word & Image Publishing Group, but explains:
