"Digital Changemaker" is a 12-week course that accompanies the main program. Over the course of a semester, students work with an industry partner on a real-world problem and progress through three innovation phases in small working groups. After a deep dive into the future of an industry, the teams delve into the given problem and its ethical constraints. The final step is the development of an ethical digitalization concept.
All students at Bavarian universities are welcome to apply for the course. The CDTM explicitly encourages students not only from technical and business backgrounds, but also from the social sciences, in order to facilitate innovation through the broadest possible diversity. The application deadline is 17 SeptemberThe course is limited to approximately 25 participants. The program is scheduled to start on October 16.
“Digital Changemaker” is supported and promoted by the CDTM.
The Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) is a joint institution of two Munich universities, the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It primarily offers the interdisciplinary postgraduate program "Technology Management." Students from various disciplines are designed to gain the tools they need to put their ideas into practice. The focus is on creative ideas, high motivation, and entrepreneurial thinking. To ensure success, the CDTM works closely with partners from industry, as well as startups and medium-sized companies.
The CDTM is a successful startup incubator. For example, the founders of Egym, Konux, Navvis and Freeletics met – and this is just a small excerpt from the CDTM alumni list.
