Apply now for the European Prize for Women Innovators

Female entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for positive social change can apply for the European Prize for Women Innovators. The award, with a total prize money of €420,000, is presented by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The application deadline is September 27.

The European Prize for Women Innovators celebrates the female entrepreneurs behind Europe's most groundbreaking innovations. With the EU Prize, the award recognizes women whose groundbreaking innovations are driving positive change for people and the planet. The prize is awarded in three categories: Women Innovators, Rising Innovators, and EIT Women Leadership.

The Women Innovators category is aimed at the most talented Innovators of the EU. First place receives €100,000, second place receives €70,000, and third place receives €50,000. Rising Innovators are recognized as women under 35. In this category, the first-place winner receives €50,000, with the following prizes of €30,000 and €20,000, respectively. Finally, the EIT Women Leadership category honors outstanding female leaders from the EIT community. First place receives €50,000, while second and third place winners receive €30,000 and €20,000, respectively.

Apply for the European Prize for Women Innovators by 27 September

To be eligible to apply for the European Prize for Women Innovators, female founders must have launched their startup at least two years ago. The company must also be headquartered in an EU member state or a participating country in the Horizon 2020 program. The application deadline is September 27.
