The Munich Startup Special Prize was awarded for the first time at the Bits & Pretzels startup fair. The winner is the startup PointTwelve. For those of you who have known us for a long time and are now wondering about the new prize: So far, our Munich Startup Award has been presented at Bits & Pretzels. There This award was already presented at the Munich Startup Festival 2023 , Bits & Pretzels now offers our special prize, the "Munich Startup Special Prize," worth €2,500. The special prize is intended to honor the innovative strength of Munich startups and raise their visibility at the international startup festival.
PointTwelve was named the best Munich startup at Bits & Pretzels. Regulation Tech company has developed a SaaS platform, which enables manufacturers of energy-intensive goods to certify their production more efficiently. The IoT and software solution makes it easier for manufacturing companies to prove that they use renewable energy. The solution also allows companies to create digital product passports, quantify their carbon emissions, and obtain government-approved certificates.
Munich Startup Special Prize is endowed with 2,500 euros
The prize was awarded during the Bits & Pretzels Network Day in the Schottenhamel marquee on the Oktoberfest by the Minister for Labour and Economic Affairs, Clemens Baumgärtner:
"Munich is an excellent location for founding and scaling startups. At Bits & Pretzels, PointTwelve's innovative solution impressed, and this year's special award goes to it."
The winning team is very happy about the award. Flower of Durfort, CEO of PointTwelve, said at the award ceremony:
