Pina Earth Team
2nd place: The Munich startup Pina Earth aims to make German forests more climate-resilient. To this end, the startup has developed a forest conversion methodology and a technology to make the resulting CO2 reduction measurable. Pina Earth thus offers climate protection projects for which CO2 certificates can be purchased and an additional source of income for forest owners. The startup was founded by Gesa Biermann and Florian Fincke in 2021 and now has 15 employees.
