Simpleclub digitizes vocational training in Austria

In Germany, the edtech startup Simpleclub has been offering learning support for apprentices for some time. Through a collaboration with Wise Up, the Munich-based company is now ensuring that apprenticeship training in Austria is digitally supported.

Simpleclub's training program includes skilled trades, commercial, industrial-technical, IT, and healthcare professions. According to the startup, more than 300 corporate partners are already working with the startup. These include Deutsche Bahn, Sparkasse, Brillux, and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Last year, the startup also invested Representatives of German small and medium-sized businesses three million euros into EdTech to finance the expansion of the offering. The content the learning platform are independently prepared didactically by a team of authors and designers – as text summaries, videos, interactive graphics or exercises at exam level.

Now Simplecub is cooperating with Wise Upto expand its offerings to Austria. Wise Up is the digital training and continuing education platform of the Austrian Federal Economic Chambers. According to the company, it offers access to over 20,000 German-language online courses from various international knowledge providers.

explains Wise Up CEO René Mähr.

"We want to make apprenticeship training fit for the future – and that is digital. For us as a company, this cooperation is a special milestone because we are now directly available to so many trainees and apprentices in Austria,"
