Floy is Innovator of the Year 2024

Floy develops AI-driven software that supports radiologists in detecting complex and difficult-to-identify diseases. The health tech company has now received the "Innovator of the Year" award for its technology.

The Munich-based startup Floy uses artificial intelligence to help radiologists detect difficult-to-see abnormalities. Founded in 2021, the startup raised €1.3 million in pre-seed financing in its founding year. Seed financing of €2.1 million from European investors followed in 2022. At the end of last year, another financing round of €5.4 million was added. Now, Floy can look forward to further recognition for its work. Healthtech has been awarded the title “Innovator of the Year 2024”.

"Innovator of the Year" is the largest public award in German business and honors companies of all sizes. The award winners range from startups to global corporations – the decisive factor is the innovative products, processes, and concepts of the nominees. Companies can apply for nomination of their innovations by Apply by submitting a nomination formA nomination committee, consisting of previous winners, business experts, and business journalists, reviews the applications and selects the 20 most promising candidates. These candidates are then given the opportunity to submit their nominations for public voting.
