With its software solutions, Ampeers Energy aims to enable the real estate industry to achieve a climate-neutral and simultaneously profitable energy supply for its buildings. Startups This encompasses the process from current analysis and implementation support to profitable operation and electricity billing. The Fraunhofer spin-off has now secured Solar Edge as a new investor and partner.
Ampeers Energy announces on LinkedIn:
“The new partnership makes us an end-to-end solution provider for the housing industry by combining software, hardware, and services.”
Ampeers Energy continues to provide the digital platform that brings together all information related to the decarbonization process. Solar Edge also provides the necessary hardware and its extensive installation capacity. This will soon enable housing companies to benefit from a comprehensive package for photovoltaic tenant power. This package is expected to be available in the first half of the year.
Ampeers Energy enables climate-positive energy supply
Karsten Schmidt, CEO and co-founder of Ampeers Energy, commented on the partnership:
"Solar Edge is a leader in intelligent renewable energy technologies. Integrated thinking about services, software, and technology forms the basis of our collaboration. In the first step of the collaboration, we will focus on providing a scalable PV tenant power solution for residential portfolios, embedded in a comprehensive climate protection strategy. We will thus show housing companies the fastest and most economical way to a climate-positive energy supply your portfolios.”
Zvi Lando, CEO of Solar Edge, says:
"More than half of the population in Germany lives in multi-family homes, most of them rented. Compared to homeowners, they have had little opportunity to use their own clean solar power generated on their roofs. By working with Ampeers to offer holistic and intelligent energy solutions for real estate companies, we are helping to give more people across the country access to the climate-protecting and economic benefits of solar energy."
Another partner in the current financing round is Sistems. The company develops and supplies building technology system solutions for serial energy renovation. Sistems has been operating as a strategic partner at Ampeers Energy on board.
