The Munich Fintech Particula aims to make the digital asset market more transparent and understandable. the startup developed a platform that evaluates tokenized assets based on economic, environmental, and technological criteria, as well as compliance guidelines. The target audience includes professional investors such as banks, hedge funds, venture capitalists, and companies.
Particula has now raised an undisclosed sum in its first round of financing. Frankfurt-based VC Futury Capital is leading the financing. Other investors include Plug & Play, Hatcher+, Vanagon Ventures, Blockchain Founders Group, Asia Pacific Investment Partners, and several business angels. The fresh capital will be used to further drive the growth of the young company.
Benjamin Krahmer, Managing Director of Futury Capital, explains the investment decision as follows:
"We see great market potential; many banks and industry-leading companies are already closely monitoring the market and increasingly expanding their involvement. The reduction of regulatory hurdles and the simultaneous development of guidelines are fueling the efforts of European banks and companies to further intensify this engagement. As a first mover in the valuation of tokenized assets, Particula is ideally positioned to help shape the market. We are impressed by the maturity of the young yet dynamic founding team and the company's development in just one year since its founding."
Founded in 2022, the startup originally emerged from the Blockchain Founders Group incubator. Particula has already attracted well-known DAX companies and banks. Fintech by Timm Reinsdorf, Nadine Wilke, Carsten Hermann and Wolfram Menser.
