The Insurtech Hub Munich brings startups together with over 30 insurers and tech companies – as part of its free Venture Client Programme. Applications are open until July 11.

The Insurtech Hub Munich (ITHM) has gained a new strategic partner with QAware. The consulting and project house for software solutions will strengthen the ITHM in the future with its expertise in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

Lawyer and insurance manager Miriam Hook is taking over the management of Insurtech Hub Munich (ITHM) from May. Miriam Hook is succeeding Christian Gnam as managing director, who after nearly five years as managing director of the ITHM has taken over the leadership of the Innovation and Startup Centre for Biotechnology (IZB) in Martinsried near Munich.

The Insurtech Hub Munich (ITHM) enters into a ‘knowledge partnership’ with Deloitte. The partnership aims to make the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) for the insurance industry transparent and understandable.

The Insurtech Hub Munich receives financial funding of up to one million euros from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economics, Regional Development and Energy. The funds can be drawn down until October 2026. The funding is primarily intended to support the further development of the Insurtech Hub Munich’s innovation programs and strategic formats. Additionally, it will be used to expand international networking activities.

The Insurtech Hub Munich places startups in the insurance industry through the NXT:Commercial program. The focus is on solutions for cybersecurity, sustainability, and digitalization for SMEs. Applications are possible until August 31st.

With the “NXT: Distribution Innovation Programme”, the Insurtech Hub Munich connects startups to the insurance industry. Applications are possible until March 20.

The Insurtech Hub Munich wants to support One Mission in increasing the share of business startups founded by women.
