The Munich-based startup Flyla is a platform for cheap last-minute flight tickets exclusively for students and young people. In 2019, the traveltech received funding; in 2020, Flyla was temporarily shelved due to the Covid pandemic. In 2022, the founding team Frederic Lapatschek and Fabian Höhne relaunched and also brought Ben Shaw, our interview partner, on board as CEO.
IDnow cooperates with airline industry association
IDnow is participating in the Accelerate@IATA program 2022 of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA is the industry association for airlines and represents, according to its own information, around 290 airlines, accounting for 83 percent of all air traffic. One goal of the cooperation is the digitalization of entry controls.
