What is the event about?
What innovative concepts, products, and services do companies from Munich and the surrounding area offer to green cities? What challenges does the Landeshauptstadt München face in open space development, and what are its needs? As part of the EU project JUSTNature, the Department for Urban Planning and Building Regulations, together with the Referat für Arbeit und Wirtschaft, Munich Economic Development, and Munich Business, are inviting companies that offer products and services around urban nature and greening and shape urban open spaces.
What can you expect as a participant?
We are planning company pitches, examples of successful collaboration between the administration and companies, discussions with various stakeholders and thematic sessions, as well as time and space for networking. Staff from the city administration from various departments and entrepreneurs will share insights and experiences, discuss, and get to know each other in order to:
• make the offerings of local and regional companies as well as the support needs of these companies more visible.
• network companies with each other and with the Landeshauptstadt München to find even more fitting solutions for Munich’s green and open spaces in the future.
• create greater awareness of the support services offered by the state capital for start-ups and SMEs.
• highlight challenges and solutions of the Landeshauptstadt München in the areas of urban nature, open space planning and design, climate adaptation and biodiversity, as well as needs for innovative greening concepts and measures.
Using the insights from the event, the JUSTNature team will create a concept for the Landeshauptstadt München for better integration and collaboration with such companies.
