About the event

What people leave off their resumes…… takes the stage at Fuckup Night

Success stories are easy to tell. The promotion. The founding. The next big step.

That’s exactly what will be talked about at Fuckup Nights Munich Vol. 21.

On October 15 at 6:30 pm at WERK1 Munich, three people will take the stage and share stories that are usually heard after the third glass of wine rather than on LinkedIn.

Not the polished version.
Not “My biggest mistake was that I’m too much of a perfectionist.”
And definitely no disguised business pitch.

Instead, real stories about decisions, false assumptions, detours, crashes, and what happened next.

3 speakers. 3 stories. No fairy tales of success.

🎤 Erika Magyarosi: TEDx speaker, trainer & coach

She was supposed to become Romania’s great philosopher. Then she cleaned toilets in Swabia. A year in Germany was only supposed to be a stopover.
It turned into a complete collapse of her previous self-image. What is left of you when suddenly nothing you defined yourself by matters anymore?

🎤 Gerhard Dashuber: Entrepreneur, author, and endurance athlete

Wet. Tired. Exhausted. And on the verge of just quitting. Gerhard Dashuber sat on his bike and wondered why he was putting himself through this crap in the first place. That very night, something began that has stayed with him to this day. Some fuckups you only recognize as a beginning years later.

🎤 Abel Medina: HVAC entrepreneur in Munich & Managing Director of Medina & Kurtovic Haustechnik GmbH

He thought he had fought his way back into life. Then his cards stopped working. Accounts frozen. Livelihood on the line. Abel Medina had to ask himself a painful question: How much of it was really bad luck, and how much was his own responsibility?

If you’re in the mood for an evening where people don’t talk about how perfectly everything went, but how it really was:
