With its software platform, Actindo enables companies to orchestrate any frontend, backend, or legacy system. This allows brands, retailers, and manufacturers to optimize their data utilization, accelerate workflows, and automate processes across systems, touchpoints, databases, data warehouses, and AI solutions.

Boris Krstic, co-founder and CEO of Actindo, explains:

“Covid was the trigger for digital transformation. Many companies therefore want to adapt their business processes accordingly. The problem, however, is that traditional IT infrastructure is not designed to implement composable commerce—the flexible assembly and integration of different “best-of-breed” software into a suitable overall solution. Creating a unified customer experience and managing multiple software providers, as well as orchestrating data, microservices, and functions between these providers, is a major challenge for many enterprise companies. Instead of siloed and labyrinthine integrations with API tools, our platform brings together ERP business logic, data, content, and order management on one platform using cutting-edge MACH technology. This allows companies to reliably continue operating their existing IT and gain a holistic solution from Actindo—a single source of truth for their entire business.”

With this approach, the company based in Ismaning, which has been self-financed to date, has secured a seven-figure investment from the European investment fund Round2 Capital, which specializes in revenue-based finance and growth financing. Actindo plans to use the capital raised to further strengthen its international market position, expand its product offering for enterprise companies, and grow its partner network without giving up equity. As a revenue-based financing investor, Round2 Capital receives a percentage share of the financed company’s revenues over a certain period in return for its investment, without the company having to give up equity.

“A fixture in the ecosystem”

Stefan Nagel, Managing Partner at Round2, is convinced:

“The Actindo team has achieved incredible performance over the past few years: it has renewed the product, built an impressive customer base, and established itself as a fixture in the ecosystem. We look forward to supporting them as they enter the next growth phase of the company.”

Actindo was founded in 2007 by Patrick Prasse and Boris Krstic in Ismaning near Munich, where it has its headquarters. According to the company, it now employs 80 employees in Munich and additional offices in Cologne, Dubai, and Shenyang.
