The Munich Impact Incubator is accepting applications until July 31, 2026 for its third program cohort. The five-month support program assists early-stage impact founding teams from Munich with coaching, workshops, and co-working at Munich Urban Colab. Additionally, the winning team has the opportunity to apply for impact funding totaling 20,000 euros.
Focus on social impact and entrepreneurial growth
While many support programs are oriented toward technology or industry, the Munich Impact Incubator specifically focuses on startups that address social or ecological challenges with entrepreneurial solutions. This aims to strengthen impact-oriented entrepreneurship in the Munich startup ecosystem and promote social innovation.
The program is aimed at teams whose business idea has already moved beyond the pure concept phase. Additionally, teams should ideally have validated their solution with their target audience. Founding teams with two to three members from all industries can apply, provided the founding has already taken place in Munich or is planned no later than three months after the program concludes.
Coaching, workshops, and co-working at Munich Urban Colab
The program cohort runs from October 2026 to February 2027. During this period, selected teams receive comprehensive support. This includes individual consulting and coaching from Münchner Gründungsbüro. The Munich Impact Incubator also offers workshops on topics such as social business model design, impact measurement, leadership, law, taxes, impact fundraising, and pitching.
Additionally, participants have access to co-working spaces at Munich Urban Colab as well as individual consulting budgets for legal, tax, or patent matters.
At the end of the program, teams have the opportunity to apply for impact funding totaling 20,000 euros through a pitch competition.
Application deadline on July 31st
The application deadline is July 31, 2026. Interested teams can submit their documents online through the application portal of Landeshauptstadt München. The support program is organized by munich business, the economic development department of Landeshauptstadt München.
