The application phase for the second batch of the Master Accelerator has begun. Early-stage startups can now apply for the program until September 4. Applicants should submit a compelling pitch deck. The Master Accelerator program starts on October 17.

Office space, networking, and coaching

The 6-month program includes coaching on individual topics with mentors, knowledge transfer on fundraising, and access to the German Entrepreneurship Ecosystem with experts, investors, industry partners, and successful startup founders. At the newly opened German Entrepreneurship Center in Munich, participants have access to a free full-time workspace. Networking and after-work events take place here as well.

After six months of training, support continues: for an additional 18 months, startups can not only use on-demand meeting and conference rooms in the co-working space, but also access the ecosystem and the opportunity for further coaching.

Founders can best take advantage of all benefits on-site in Munich. However, applications can be submitted from all over Germany, and many program contents are offered virtually. Some mandatory events must be attended in Munich. Participants do not need to give up company shares. Instead, a participation fee in the form of a 2 percent success fee is charged on completed financing rounds from program start until 18 months thereafter. If no financing is obtained, the program remains free of charge.

Voices from the first batch

Lucas Fuhrmann, co-founder of Lovr, says:

“We made great progress especially in fundraising and sales/partnerships. Not only through exciting coaching sessions, including one with Andy Goldstein, but also through personal meetings with the other high-potential founder teams.”

Maria-Liisa Bruckert, co-founder of Sqin, says:

“The Master Accelerator was the strongest program we’ve participated in so far. What impressed us most was the many inspiring people we got to know so closely here, in a way we rarely do elsewhere. The network is not only enormous but also extremely effective because it’s absolutely reliable and personal. Collaboration is written in capital letters here.”

Tim Haug, co-founder of Enna Systems, adds:

“Thanks to the large mentor pool of the Master Accelerator, we were able to find the right guides for our startup. Through regular exchanges with our mentors, we gained not only important insights but also access to their networks.”

And Christian Laimer, co-founder of Flinker, adds:

“Through the organized events, we were able to build an important network especially in the startup sector. Moreover, during our six-month participation in the Master Accelerator, we were able to improve our pitch significantly and feel investor-ready.”
