With the additional capital, the company aims to meet the growing demand for the all-wheel-drive electric transporter. Sami Sagur, CFO and shareholder of Evum Motors, says:
“The successful financing round confirms the growth potential of Evum Motors and the financial sector’s confidence in the company.”
Before UniCredit Bank, the European Central Bank had already invested €12.5 million in the Munich startup in September 2022 in the form of venture debt for particularly high-growth companies. Existing investors increased their previous investment by a further €7.5 million.
aCar on the path to success
Evum Motors has been producing the aCar since the end of 2020 in Bayerbach near Ergoldsbach in Lower Bavaria. The manufacturer now distributes the all-purpose transporter in eleven European countries. With its compact dimensions, electric all-wheel drive, and various body options, the electric transporter is particularly suitable for municipal and agricultural transport tasks. Since spring 2023, the aCar with power steering and a long wheelbase has been available on European markets.
