Flowers aims to make expensive enterprise-level automation technologies accessible to small and medium-sized businesses. The two founders, Andreas Martin and Daniel Vöckler, focus on overseeing workflows and their execution. Once workflows are defined, the software guides each employee through the process steps and ensures that everything is completed correctly, transparently, and on time.
“There are two universal truths that affect virtually all organizations. First, companies are desperate when it comes to organization. Without clear oversight and due to missing tools, the right hand often doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Information exists in silos and processes that should promote transparency and value creation are so cumbersome that they are rarely followed. This leads to costly mistakes and delays. As a result, companies develop even more complex processes and use tools that are not suited for their purpose and further fragment the system landscape”,
says Andreas Martin, CEO and co-founder of Flowers Software. He goes on to explain:
“Second, every company’s business logic is completely unique. However, point solutions are designed as if all companies had the same logic. That’s why companies struggle to map their processes to the logic of a specific point solution. They want a flexible solution that adapts to their needs.”
“Flowers sets new standards for small and medium-sized businesses”
The startup has now successfully convinced investors for the first time and closed a seed funding round of €3.2 million. La Famiglia leads the funding round, with participation from LEA Partners and Collective Ventures. Additionally, Personio co-founder Ignaz Forstmeier, SAP Hybris founder Carsten Thoma, Sevdesk founders Fabian Silberer and Marco Reinbold, and Ironhack co-founder Gonzalo Manrique are among the investors.
“Flowers sets new standards for small and medium-sized businesses. Efficiency, productivity, and profitability have been significantly increased through hyperautomated workflows. This resonated with many customers across different industries. With Flowers, companies now have software for the first time that adapts to their way of working and not the other way around. We are impressed by the product and the sales strength that Andreas, Daniel, and the team have already achieved, and we look forward to supporting them in expanding to new markets”,
says Judith Dada, General Partner at La Famiglia.
With the new capital, Flowers Software will focus on its market launch strategy in Europe and further product development. The company is also hiring employees in software development, customer success, sales, and marketing.
