On June 30 and July 1, 2026, Gitex Europe 2026 will take place in Berlin. And we’re looking for you, because we’re offering five startups a great opportunity. We’re looking for startups that want to travel to Berlin with us and present their company to an international professional audience.
Access to the global Gitex platform as a strategic lever
The special feature of this call lies in direct access to one of Europe’s most internationally relevant tech events. As part of the global Gitex series, Gitex Europe deliberately brings startups together with international investors, companies, and political decision-makers. For Munich startups, this opens up the opportunity to significantly increase their visibility beyond the DACH region.
Gitex Europe 2026: Focus on scaling, internationalization, and matchmaking
Gitex Europe positions itself as a platform for growth-oriented tech startups and scaleups. The focus is on topics such as future technologies and innovations, international market development, scaling strategies, and curated matchmaking with investors and corporates.
In addition to an extensive expo floor, the event offers multiple stage formats with pitches, keynotes, and panels.
Services for selected Munich startups at a glance
The five selected startups benefit from a structured support package:
- A conference ticket for a representative
- 500 euro grant for travel and accommodation costs
- Participation in the joint booth “Startup Champs Germany”
- Allocation of a stage slot or startup pods (by draw)
- Access to national and international networks
- Support with matchmaking before and during the event
Travel and accommodation are organized independently.
Participation requirements: Focus on maturity and market readiness
The application is specifically aimed at startups with clear growth ambitions and a validated business model. Requirements are:
- Company headquarters in Munich
- Maximum company age of ten years
- Demonstrable product-market fit
- Clear motivation for participation
- Willingness to actively shape the joint appearance
Selection is made by an expert jury that particularly evaluates maturity, scalability, and international market readiness.
Application process and deadlines
The application deadline is May 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Applicants will be notified by email by May 22, 2026 at the latest whether they have been selected. The selection process is based on a jury evaluation that makes its decision based on defined criteria.
