Participation in the award is open to anyone from the Alpine region: startups, established companies, institutions, associations, individuals, and teams.
Green Infrastructure Goes Business Award: Award ceremony in Slovenia
An international jury will select six to eight winners or winning teams. They will subsequently benefit from:
- Customized coaching to take your company or idea to the next level,
- International networking with other companies, experts, and sponsors,
- Pitching before an international audience at the award ceremony in Slovenia
- and presence on the GI Goes Business website.
The GI Goes Business Award is a competition to promote the green economy and nature-based enterprises in the Alpine macro-region, initiated as part of the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP).
The 2024 edition is funded and supported by the Slovenian Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning, the Soča Valley Development Centre, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol, and the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment and Consumer Protection.
