Greenforce offers vegan alternatives for meat, eggs, fish, milk and white sausage, among others. According to the company’s own information, data from the market research institute IRI shows that Greenforce, with 52 percent absolute market share growth over the past twelve months, is the fastest-growing brand in the meat alternative sector. The two CEOs Thomas Isermann and Hannes-Benjamin Schmitz describe their company’s offering as “essentially a complete solution for plant-based nutrition from breakfast to dinner”. The management duo points to its online community as a success factor:

“We communicate intensively with our customers and therefore know exactly what they want. Our customers are involved in product development and the direct feedback helps us in turn with our strategic expansion in retail. This has convinced both existing and new investors to join the Greenforce journey with us, and we are very proud of that.”

Greenforce: “The products are simply a highlight in terms of taste too”

Investors include Baywa, several board members and representatives of biotech company Biontech, as well as Holger Beeck, former managing director of McDonald’s Germany. Holger Beeck says:

“Greenforce has understood that in this fiercely competitive market, the key is to establish yourself in multiple categories so as not to be pushed out by brand giants. The enormous growth within the company’s young history speaks for itself. Moreover, the products are simply a highlight in terms of taste as well.”
