Happybrush receives a media investment from Sevenventures. The investment arm of ProsiebenSat.1 Media SE is investing in the company with a gross media volume in the mid-single-digit million range. At the same time, the startup is gaining prominent support: Germany’s national team goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is joining as a strategic partner and will become the face of the brand.
Since 2016, Happybrush has been developing oral care products, focusing on a combination of quality, design, and sustainability. The portfolio includes electric toothbrushes for adults and children, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, and interdental brushes. According to the company, it has sold around 25 million products to date.
With this investment, Happybrush aims to enter the next growth phase. Sevenventures provides the startup with long-term visibility across the linear and digital channels of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. A cross-media campaign, including a TV spot, accompanies the partnership.
Neuer helps shape the brand
Manuel Neuer is not only taking on the role of brand ambassador. The world champion will also work with Happybrush to develop new product and brand concepts.
The goalkeeper says:
“As a professional athlete, I place great value on health, quality, and consistent routines in everyday life. Oral health plays an important role in this. Happybrush combines effective technology, modern design, and sustainability in a way that convinced me immediately – just as much as the numerous awards the products have received. I’m very much looking forward to actively helping shape the further development of the brand and future products.”
Happybrush co-founder Stefan Walter also highlights Neuer’s strategic role:
“What’s particularly valuable for us is that Manuel Neuer is not only engaging as a brand ambassador but is also shaping Happybrush strategically. And together with Sevenventures as a strong media partner, we’re creating the media reach to take the company to the next level.”
For Sevenventures, the focus is primarily on expanding brand awareness. The campaign extends Happybrush’s presence at the point of sale, online, and via social media.
