Imero uses artificial intelligence to gather the necessary information about products and enables companies to present this information via no-code software according to their needs. This is intended to give companies more freedom in packaging design while gaining direct customer contact. Consumers, in turn, should benefit from increased transparency and easier access to services.
In the wine sector, Imero has already proven its worth with its solution. With its platform e-label.eu, the startup has helped winemakers easily incorporate new mandatory transparency information via digital labels. But industry giants outside the wine sector such as Wilson, Esprit, and Ortlieb are also already using Imero’s software to improve their service offerings and after-sales support.
Benedikt Mayer, CEO of Imero, comments:
“We stand on the threshold of a revolution in the world of labels. With new regulations and growing demand for transparency regarding production, service, and recycling, digital labels that make information much more easily accessible via QR codes or NFC chips are the future.”
“Imero will play a key role”
Axel Bree, CEO of luggage manufacturer Stratic and Imero customer, sees it the same way:
“Digital labeling is already a decisive competitive advantage for our company Stratic. As a pioneer in the luggage and bag market, we committed to Imero technology two years ago. It enables us to offer individual and innovative services and learn more about our customers’ needs. We are also well-positioned with regard to the upcoming transparency requirements as part of the European Green Deal.”
Now Imero has successfully completed a funding round and raised two million euros. The money comes from existing investor BA2 as well as new investor Bmp Ventures. With the fresh capital, the startup plans to further expand its offerings and develop additional platforms that simplify compliance with new transparency laws for companies and expand service and after-sales globally.
Jan Alberti from Bmp Ventures says:
“In the future, every product will have a digital label, and Imero will play a key role in simplifying this transformation for companies with its scalable technology.”
