Growth Alliance is an initiative of the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank and the Tech-Quartier on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Through specialized programs and partnerships, the initiative supports founders in developing sustainable solutions for agriculture and food industry. Part of the offering is a free accelerator program for agrifood startups in the growth phase. It is aimed at startups with an established user base that are looking for financing.
Up to ten startups will have the opportunity to prepare for their next funding round and make contacts with companies and investors. Through workshops, training, and networking sessions, experts and mentors provide valuable insights and tools.
Among other things, the accelerator program covers the following topics:
- How is the VC world structured and who is the right capital provider?
- How do you plan finances?
- On what basis is a startup valued?
- What should you consider before signing a term sheet?
- How do you pitch to investors?
- Financing secured – what happens next?
- How do you scale a startup sustainably?
The accelerator program takes place over seven workshop days in total, divided into two phases. The first phase starts this year on October 22 and 23, continuing on November 18 and 19. Phase two opens next year from January 13 to 15, 2025. The venue is the Tech-Quartier in Frankfurt am Main.
Until September 9, startups in the seed to Series A phase with sustainable business models in agtech, foodtech, and nature-based solutions can apply. After successful review of the application documents, candidates will be invited to an interview before the final notification about participation.
