Social startups often have a harder time securing funding than startups in other industries. Business models oriented toward the common good don’t always fit into classic funding structures or investor return expectations. This makes an offering that specifically addresses their needs all the more relevant.
So all Munich startups founding in the social sector, take note: Apply by April 15 for the “socia” accelerator program, a nationwide accelerator program for social innovations.
Target group and framework conditions
The program targets common-good-oriented social startups nationwide that are about to launch or are within one year of founding.
What the program offers:
- 50 teams per year in a customized social living lab
- Free and with no equity stake in the company
- Travel costs covered
The application phase runs from February 1 to April 15, 2026.
