Limehome offers furnished apartments for short-term and long-term rental. The entire check-in and check-out process is digital and requires no personal contact. Even during the pandemic, the startup was able to grow significantly: According to company information, Limehome tripled its revenue annually during the pandemic years. Currently, the Munich-based company operates at over 100 locations in seven countries, and recently expanded to Hungary. Market entry into additional European countries is imminent.
The newly raised capital of 45 million euros is intended to fuel this planned expansion. In addition to further organic growth, part of the capital will also go into acquisitions of existing operators. Limehome also wants to further expand the scalability and service level of its own technology platform.
With AW Rostamani Group and Capital Four, two new investors have invested in Limehome. Founded in 1954 in Dubai (UAE), the AW Rostamani Group is among the leading conglomerates in the Middle East. The company generates over 2 billion dollars in revenue and, through its subsidiaries, operates in automobiles, real estate, retail, lighting solutions, travel, and logistics. Capital Four is a credit asset management boutique headquartered in Copenhagen. According to the company, it manages over 15 billion euros.
