With the appointment of Miriam Hook, a leadership team of the ITHM is also being established. Esther Prax and Jens Schindler, who have both worked for the ITHM for several years, are being given additional responsibilities. In addition to her role as program director, Esther Prax is taking on the position of deputy managing director. Finance director Jens Schindler will lead the ITHM Innovation GmbH together with Miriam Hook, which consolidates ITHM’s service offerings.

After studying law at the LMU München and early work as a lawyer, including in New York, Miriam Hook began her insurance career. In 2004, she started at Munich Re as an underwriter and moved into client management and treaty underwriting UK. After a further stint as class underwriter at Liberty Syndicates (Lloyd’s of London), she joined Swiss Re in 2015. Most recently, she was vice president for Global Clients and responsible for growth and innovation projects in the DACH market in the areas of mobility, sustainability, and cyber solutions.
Since 2021, Esther Prax has been developing the ITHM‘s innovation programs and formats and is responsible for the hub’s strategic direction. Previously, she worked as a consultant at Deloitte Digital, among others. Jens Schindler took on his role at ITHM in 2020. Previously, he worked at Siemens Financial Services and Crédit Agricole.
