With the fresh capital, Moonblock plans to expand its development and research teams. The goal is to launch a SaaS product to market this year. The startup focuses on NFTs, short for non-fungible tokens, from corporate brands. NFTs represent an object in the form of a unique digital representation. Adidas, Nike, and Coca-Cola have already adopted blockchain technology.

Moonblock’s product tracks success metrics of projects across industries, technologies, and brands. This enables companies to measure the product performance of their Web3 activities and compare them with competitors. According to the startup, one of its first customers is an unnamed DAX corporation.

Moonblock: “Define a new category in analytics”

Moonblock co-founder Anne Greul says the company now wants to accelerate product development and customer acquisition:

“Our goal is to define a new category in analytics and make our Web3 brand intelligence technology accessible to customers worldwide.”

Alongside former Audi CTO Peter Mertens, Leon Szeli, founder of Presize, has come on board as a business angel at Moonblock. He says:

“Through NFT technology, brands can not only market new digital products and services to specific target audiences, but also better understand competitors and customers, for example through sales figures or purchasing behavior. Moonblock’s web application allows users without technical expertise to leverage cutting-edge AI and big data technology and thus gain a data-driven advantage over competitors.”
