Together with the partner cities of the Startup-Champs (Hamburg, Cologne, and Berlin), Munich Startup will operate a booth at Slush again – this year as part of the Germany booth of the German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce. Munich Startup is giving three Munich startups the opportunity to present themselves to Slush visitors. The package includes:
- an entrance ticket for Slush 2023 (1 ticket per startup)
- the inclusion of your logo at the joint booth of the Startup-Champ cities Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich
- temporary use of the joint booth as your own presence at the fair
- a pitch on the German Pitching Stage
Furthermore, selected startups can register for the Slush 100 pitch competition. The winning team of this startup competition, organized by Slush organizers, will receive an investment of 1 million euros from leading early-stage funds Accel, General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners, NEA, and Northzone.
Registration for Munich Startup’s Slush booth until August 11
Tech startups from Munich that are listed on munich-startup.de/startups and have already generated initial revenue with their product or service can apply. The startup’s total previous funding must not exceed €750,000. Additionally, internationalization or the recruitment of international investors should be on the agenda. The deadline for applications is August 11, 2023.
In 2022, Slush in Helsinki brought together 4,600 early-stage startup founders with 2,600 investors representing $1 billion in assets under management. At Munich Startup’s booth last year, the startups Farminsect, Fernride, Justt, and Mily Technologies presented themselves. The visit to Slush paid off for them, as Felix Braune, co-founder of Justt, summarized:
“With the booth, it’s easy to get settled at the fair and you don’t just start from scratch. You immediately have people here to work with. The exchange with other startups was really great – I learned a lot from them. I also had a whole series of valuable investor conversations.”
