SXSW brings together tech pioneers and innovators, startups and companies, creatives and artists from around the world every year. Among the speakers announced so far for SXSW 2024 are AMD president and CEO Lisa Su and Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, as well as author and director Jennette McCurdy and actress Rosario Dawson.
Munich at SXSW 2024
The Landeshauptstadt München will also be represented this year again with a delegation in Austin, which will also include Munich startups. We are looking for applicants with innovative technologies and solutions for topics that are in focus at the SXSW Conference. Additionally, startups from the culture and creative industries are invited to apply. At least two of the ten available packages are reserved for them. The packages include:
- an Interactive Badge for participation in SXSW 2024 (1 ticket per startup),
- a travel cost subsidy of a maximum of €1,000,
- inclusion in the Munich delegation program
Startups from Munich can apply if they are listed on munich-startup.de/startups – or if they register quickly here – and are already generating initial revenue with their product or service. Additionally, internationalization or the recruitment of international investors should be on the agenda. The application deadline is November 26, 2023.
