South by Southwest (SXSW) is one of the largest and most influential events for technology, innovation, and creativity worldwide. The event combines conference, trade show, and festival, bringing together startups, companies, creatives, and tech pioneers from around the world. The SXSW Conference alone expects over 75,000 participants who will exchange ideas in more than 1,000 keynotes, panels, workshops, and meetups on topics such as artificial intelligence, health, climate and sustainability, and energy.
The Munich delegation, led by City Councilor Manuel Pretzl, consists of startups, established companies, creatives, and a team from the state capital. A special highlight is the newly redesigned German Haus @SXSW, which will offer numerous panels, networking events, and music acts from March 8–12. Munich Startup is represented here as a partner, along with Landeshauptstadt München.

- Summ AI: An AI-powered tool that automatically translates complex texts into easy-to-read language.
- Supernutural: A foodtech innovator that develops and distributes sustainable nut cream machines.
- UniteLabs: Revolutionizes lab automation with a modular, cloud-enabled platform for faster research.
- Userlane: An AI-powered technology platform that helps companies optimize the value of their software usage.
