The Munich Startup Special Prize 2026 is endowed with 5,000 euros and was presented to Munich-based startup Naxon Robotics by Mayor Verena Dietl as part of Bits & Pretzels at the Oktoberfest.

Naxon Robotics founder Yamen Mohisn can look forward to, among other perks, a six-month MTZ membership, giving him access to meeting spaces and an office.

Founded just this September, now awarded 5,000 euros

The award was presented in the Schottenhamel festival tent at the Oktoberfest. Naxon Robotics convinced the jury with its innovative approach. Registered in the commercial register only in September 2026, the startup does not primarily aim to build a new robot, but rather a software and autonomy platform that enables heterogeneous robot fleets to jointly perform security and inspection tasks.

Arno Eggers, Head of Munich Startup:

“We have a fantastic founder community in Munich, and Naxon Robotics proved that once again at this year’s Bits & Pretzels. Their solutions are not only visionary, but also solve highly complex, tangible problems. Anyone who wants to understand why Munich is currently booming as Europe’s leading tech hub only has to look at startups like Naxon. With the Munich Startup Special Prize, we support such beacons and continue to work on strengthening Munich as a key location.”
