In France, Planet A Foods is launching its collaboration with chocolaterie Abtey. Together, the companies are bringing eight new products with Choviva to market. From mid-March onwards, these will be available in numerous supermarkets such as Auchan, Carrefour, Intermarché, and Monoprix. Additionally, Abtey’s online shop offers another purchasing option. French customers benefit from broad availability of the sustainable chocolate alternative.

Planet A Foods is also expanding its range in Germany. For the first time, Choviva products are appearing in seasonal retail offerings: Lidl Germany is launching the Favorina Easter bunny with Choviva, produced by Wergona Schokoladen. Penny is adding to its range with the Douceur “Knabbernest,” created in collaboration with Rau Chocolate & Cereals. With this, the startup is continuing its expansion in its home market consistently.

In Great Britain, Planet A Foods is celebrating the market entry of its cocoa-free chocolate. In collaboration with Wawi Schokoladen-AG, a new product is being created that offers British consumers a sustainable alternative for Easter.

Choviva on a success course

With its Europe-wide Easter offensive, Planet A Foods is strengthening its position as an innovator in the chocolate market. Given supply shortages and rising cocoa prices, demand for alternatives is gaining increasing importance. Choviva is the world’s first chocolate without cocoa. Instead, it is produced from regional oats and sunflower seeds using a patented manufacturing process.

CEO Maximilian Marquart emphasizes:

“Easter is the perfect occasion to demonstrate how versatile Choviva can be as an ingredient. Seasonal products offer exciting opportunities because they generate large volumes in a short time – this way, we reach even more people with our sustainable treats. We are delighted that Choviva is featured in Easter assortments for the first time – and there’s more to come!”
