At Quantum Systems, one milestone follows another. In recent months, the defense tech company raised a remarkable €100 million, acquired a majority stake in propulsion developer EFT Mobility, and restructured its leadership team. Now the company specializing in AI-powered fixed-wing drones and software has announced another acquisition. Through the integration of Airrobot, which develops multicopter drones, Quantum Systems is expanding its “Family of Systems”. This underscores the long-term strategy of continuously building out software and AI expertise.

Airrobot, based in Arnsberg, is the primary supplier for the German Armed Forces’ MIKADO II program (2022-2032) and a Tier-1 supplier to Lockheed Martin for the UK Ministry of Defence’s TIQUILA program (2023-2033). Existing development, production, and maintenance operations will continue at the Arnsberg location. The continuous supply to the German Armed Forces remains the top priority.
