The Munich startup Quantum-Systems has secured a million-euro order from Ukraine: As the company reports, 105 reconnaissance drones of the Vector type have been ordered. The delivery is funded by the German government. The unmanned aircraft are intended to support Ukrainian armed forces at the front through reconnaissance and monitor enemy troop movements.
Quantum-Systems trains personnel in Ukraine
The order is apparently a result of positive experiences the Ukrainian army has had with the Munich drones. In the past year, 33 drones from Quantum-Systems were already delivered to Ukraine. As the company now announces, training and technical support will be offered on-site in Ukraine. Procurement of spare parts and repair services will also be consolidated on-site. Florian Seibel, CEO of Quantum-Systems, says:
