The drone manufacturer Quantum Systems now has two CEOs. Effective January, Florian Seibel, co-founder and CEO of the company, has appointed Sven Kruck as Co-CEO by his side. Kruck has been serving as Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director since December 2022. Seibel will focus on products, technology, and strategy, while Kruck will handle operations, sales, and finances.
As part of this transition, Frank Thieser, Chief Financial Officer since 2020, is stepping back from active management. He is taking on the role of Senior Advisor to Seibel. Jonas Jarosch, who joined the company as Director of Finance in autumn 2024, is succeeding Thieser. As the new CFO, he brings expertise from operational business and financial strategy.
At the same time, Quantum Systems also announces the appointment of Martin Karkour as the new Chief Sales Officer. He is succeeding Kruck in turn.
Quantum Systems: from startup to global player
Since its founding a decade ago, Seibel has shaped the development of Quantum Systems from a small startup to a global company. Seibel comments:
“I want to dedicate myself more to what I do best: technology, product and strategy, as well as building an outstanding team. That is my true superpower and, by the way, the foundation for every successful tech startup. You cannot build a company without a product. It’s all about the product. I’m really happy that I can share the helm with Sven as Co-CEO in the future.”
Kruck has played a crucial role in increasing the company’s revenue and operational efficiency. Looking back, Kruck says:
“I’ve been fortunate to be at the forefront of Quantum Systems’s revenue and operational growth in my role as Managing Director and CRO. Our focus on process improvement and fostering international collaboration has created a dynamic environment characterized by innovation and excellence. I’m honored to help shape the future of UAV technology alongside Florian as Co-CEO and look forward to channeling my energy into making Quantum Systems a global champion.”
