Following a funding round last summer, E-Mobilio can now announce another successful round: In a Series A, the Munich startup is raising a total of €9.5 million. Set Ventures is stepping in as lead investor. Existing investors Übermorgen Ventures, Wi Venture, Seed+Speed Ventures, and Gateway Ventures are also participating in this round, and the family office Zwei.7 has been added as a new investor.
“All components of the e-mobility ecosystem”
E-Mobilio wants to make the e-mobility market less complex. To this end, the startup has developed a cloud-based e-mobility consulting solution as a one-stop-shop designed to make the switch to electric mobility easier for drivers. With the E-Purchase Advisor, e-car buyers can find their individual complete package consisting of charging technology, installation, public charging, photovoltaics, electricity tariff, greenhouse gas quota, subsidies, and other services alongside their electric vehicle. Ralph Missy, co-founder of E-Mobilio, explains:
“Those who can provide holistic consulting on the e-mobility ecosystem and offer their customers needs-based solutions not only create unique customer value and increase customer loyalty, but also secure valuable additional revenue across all components of the e-mobility ecosystem.”
The mobility startup also offers a white-label solution for car dealerships, vehicle manufacturers, and fleet operators. This can be customized to meet the requirements of the licensee and integrated into their website and sales processes.
Ready for the mass market
The growth financing of €9.5 million is intended to be used for the company’s continued expansion: Following successful market entry in Austria, the focus is now on other European markets. Denis Reichel, co-founder of E-Mobilio, says:
“With this fresh capital, we will continue to drive our international growth while resolving the two key bottlenecks in e-mobility: needs-based consulting and optimal fulfillment for end customers. Together, these lead to a seamless customer journey and thus accelerated market adoption.”
And Till Stenzel, partner at Set Ventures, adds:
“The e-mobility market has now entered a new phase – initially characterized by ‘early adopters,’ the market is now ready for the mass market. This will fundamentally change the car-buying process and customer loyalty strategies. E-Mobilio is ideally positioned to lead this transformation. Its strong position in the traditionally conservative German automotive market underscores the central role E-Mobilio already plays in this market today and provides a strong foundation for continued international growth.”
