The program is organized by the Bavarian State Office for South America together with the Mining Innovation Hub Peru. The goal is to network German companies with Peru’s industrial and innovation ecosystem and create concrete cooperation opportunities.
Who can apply?
Startups and SMEs based in Germany can participate if they already have a market-ready product and initial customers. Additionally, they must have sufficient resources for international scaling, such as Series A funding or comparable means.
Solutions are sought in the following areas, among others:
- Artificial intelligence and operational systems
- Data-based decision support
- Production and process efficiency
- Energy and resource efficiency
- Circular economy and sustainability
What to expect
The selected company receives access to a customized program in Lima. This includes meetings with representatives from industry, research, and the startup scene, networking formats, and participation in the Expomina trade fair.
Additionally, the program includes workshops and mentoring offers. Travel and accommodation costs for one person are covered.
Selection takes place in three phases: application, pre-selection, and demo day. In the final, the participating companies present their solution before a German-Peruvian jury.
