Spendit, a Munich-based provider of digital employee benefits, is expanding its portfolio with a new wellbeing benefit designed to promote comprehensive employee wellbeing. In addition to existing offerings such as the SpenditCard, Lunchit, and mobility benefits, the company now offers another benefit that is in demand from both employers and employees.

In cooperation with Wellhub, a corporate wellbeing platform, Spendit aims to enable employers to offer their employees access to a broad spectrum of fitness, mental health, and wellbeing offerings. According to the company, employees can use over 5,000 sports and wellness facilities across Germany, online fitness and mindfulness courses, virtual personal training, and over 40 partner apps covering sleep, nutrition, and mental health. Employees can choose the membership package that best suits their individual needs.

Employee benefits from a single source

Spendit CEO Michael Riemenschneider emphasizes how important customer needs are in developing new products:

“Our customers appreciate being able to get the most popular and best employee benefits from a single source at Spendit, simply and digitally. For employers, the health and wellbeing of their employees is central. That’s why we’re delighted to be able to offer our new wellbeing benefit as an excellent product at attractive terms.”

Ferdinand Teuber, Head of Germany Corporate Business at Wellhub, adds:

“With Spendit, we have a partner who – just like us – wants to increase employee satisfaction and motivation through maximally flexible benefits.”
