In addition to Ludwig Fresenius Pioneer Ventures AG, new investors and all existing business angels are participating in the pre-seed financing. The exact investment amount was not disclosed. With the completed financing round, Spiritory aims to expand its platform further and strengthen its position as a leading marketplace for premium spirits.
Janis Wilczura, founder and CEO of Spiritory, says:
“Closing this financing round is a milestone for our company and clear validation of our business model. A pan-European ecosystem in the form of a marketplace model covering the entire spectrum of spirits trading has enormous potential. With the additional funding, we are focusing on expanding our features and digitizing retail.”
The fresh capital secures the continued growth of the startup and its platform. Following a successful market launch, the company is focusing on expanding its product offering to digitize retailers, brands, and distilleries.
“We are excited to invest in Spiritory again in this funding round. The rising startup combines an innovative business model with visionary founders whose passion and strategic foresight have convinced us. We look forward to shaping the next chapter together and accompanying Spiritory on their journey to becoming a real game changer in premium spirits trading,”
comments Dennis Lotter, managing director of Ludwig Fresenius Pioneer Ventures AG.
Spiritory’s online platform enables users to trade rare spirits in the simplest, most transparent, and secure way possible. Buyers can place bids and sellers can list offers with just a few clicks – when both prices match, a transaction takes place. All of this works without having to take elaborate photos or write comprehensive descriptions. The startup ensures that every bottle traded is reviewed by an expert team. Additionally, the platform provides a range of indicators, sales histories, and data points to facilitate buying or selling decisions. There is also a portfolio section where users can access information and statistics about their collection or investments.
