Energyminer produces baseload-capable, clean electricity in harmony with nature and landscape. The floating hydrokinetic power plant called Energyfish uses the flow speed of rivers to generate electricity – without dams or concrete. The river remains as natural as it is. The innovative Energyfish swarm produces CO2-free electricity and offers a strategic solution for the energy transition. Without soil sealing or infrastructure expansion, the power plant delivers affordable and reliable electricity.
Dedicated work for a greener future
Richard Eckl, CEO of Energyminer, is delighted about the award:
“We are very pleased about this award, which recognizes our hard work and commitment to a greener future. The prize motivates us to continue developing innovative solutions and making our contribution to climate protection.”
The Startup Germany Summit, an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, brings together the best startups, investors, and decision-makers from politics and business every year. This year, approximately 900 guests are attending the event, including State Secretary Udo Philipp and Parliamentary State Secretary Franziska Brantner, to exchange ideas on current trends and challenges in the startup scene and to celebrate award winners from the federal states. In addition to the Main Stage, there is also the Strategy Stage, the International Stage, and the Community Stage. On the latter, all 16 federal states present a joint program under the motto “We are one.” Furthermore, there will be discussions on how the federal government, states, and business can collaborate even better.
