Start?Zuschuss! is aimed at technology-oriented startups in the digitalization sector whose founding dates back a maximum of two years. The goal of the funding program is to help young and innovative companies from Bavaria establish themselves on the market. Winners receive a financial grant of up to 36,000 euros to cover their startup costs. In the current competition round, 127 startups submitted their applications.

Bavaria’s economics minister Hubert Aiwanger highlights the importance of the competition for Bavaria as a startup region:

“Young companies with digital business ideas are like a shot in the arm for our economy. That’s why we support these startups with our Gründerland Bayern initiative in building their business models. Because entrepreneurial courage should be rewarded. The ‘Start?Zuschuss’ funding program is part of our promise to make Bavaria the most startup-friendly federal state.”

The Start?Zuschuss! winning teams from Munich
