Exciting ideas are now being sought for the Strascheg Award, which offers a total of 30,000 euros in prize money. The idea competition is divided into three categories for innovative business ideas: the best business ideas from a lecture course, during studies, and from science and practice are being sought. All students, professors, employees, and alumni of Hochschule München can apply with their ideas, projects, and academic work. For teams, however, only one person needs to belong to one of the mentioned groups. Additionally, students and alumni from other universities are welcome as long as they have participated in programs or events of the SCE.
Strascheg Award: 5,000 euros for first place
The decisive criteria for award selection are the problem description, the solution approach, the degree of innovation, the market potential, and the implementation plan of the idea. The submitted ideas will be evaluated by entrepreneurship experts from the SCE and Hochschule München, as well as an external expert jury.
In each of the three categories, the three top-ranked ideas receive 5,000 euros, 3,000 euros, and 2,000 euros respectively at the awards ceremony in November. Additionally, all participants receive a personal consultation meeting and qualified feedback on their business idea, as well as the opportunity to receive funding in the six-month SCE Accelerator Program. This includes intensive consulting, exclusive seminars/workshops for founders, as well as prototype budgets and workspaces in the incubator.
Applications are possible online until September 30. Further information and application materials can be found here.
