The Bavarian Ministry of Economics, together with the Bavarian Association of Industry and Commerce, the Association of Bavarian Chambers of Crafts, and Bayern International, has awarded the Bavaria Export Prize to medium-sized enterprises. This prize honors small and medium-sized enterprises with up to 100 full-time employees that are successfully active in foreign markets. The award aims to increase the visibility of these small and medium-sized enterprises. The Bavaria Export Prize is awarded in four categories: industry, crafts, services, and culinary delights. In the latter category, Supernutural from Munich impressed the jury this year.

Supernutural has developed a machine that produces freshly pressed nut creams. The nut cream machine is sold worldwide to B2B customers such as supermarkets, hotels, delicatessens, and professional sports clubs. According to the company, nut cream from Supernutural machines is now available in more than 20 countries around the globe.

Team spirit vs crises

IHK Chief Executive Officer Manfred Gößl commented on Supernutural’s award as follows:

“It is always impressive to see how small businesses from our region celebrate worldwide success with their products. This year’s export prize winners master the multitude of crises with a special passion for performance, team spirit, perseverance, and innovative strength.”

The company, founded in 2015 by Timo and Amelie Sperber, also presented its fresh nut butter at the event ‘Startup meets Crafts’ in 2019, which was initiated by Munich Startup and Handwerkskammer für München und Oberbayern.
