The 17-year-old student prevailed against four other teams in the final of the Startup Teens Bavaria Challenge in Munich. Behind his solution Laxout lies an innovative training app for physiotherapy practices. Second place went to Paula Juhasz-Böss from Munich with her idea VitaLuck – a transdermal vitamin roll-on. Third place went to Benedikt Drost from Neuried with his idea Solar Tendril, which greens solar panels.
The first to third places were endowed with prize money totaling 10,000 euros. The remaining places went to teams from Edyoumaps from Schwandorf district and NoLog from Würzburg.
“The Bavaria Challenge is certainly a great incentive, but Startup Teens is not a competition project, but a practical project. This means we support young people beyond competition formats to develop their entrepreneurial skills and further develop their ideas”,
explains Corinna Tappe, management director Bavaria at Startup Teens. All teams can therefore continue to benefit free of charge from the modules and network of Startup Teens.
Final day of the Startup Teens Bavaria Challenge
After a selection process beforehand, the five finalist teams pitched their ideas live on the final day to a high-profile jury and more than 120 invited guests. The jurors Daniel Krauss from Flix, Magdalena Oehl from Talent Rocket, Marcel Wolf from Commerzbank, and Dr. Kiri Trier from L’Oréal also evaluated the projects in terms of feasibility and degree of innovation.

In addition to the pitches from the five young idea generators, there were also impulses from Verena Pausder, chair of the German Startup Association, Irene Klemm from Edurino, and Yukio Iwamoto from Wemolo. They not only reported on their path to successful founding, but also spoke about how much courage it takes. The finalists can be proud of themselves and their achievements. Pausder emphasized:
“Startup Teens creates a strong environment where young people can develop their creative ideas and share them with like-minded individuals. This initiative helps shape the next generation of entrepreneurs and give them the tools for a successful future.”
