Ecoplanet was founded in 2022 by Maximilian Dekorsy and Henry Keppler. The startup now has a team of 35 people, operates with offices in Munich and Berlin, and has raised a total of six million euros in capital since March 2023. Bye Bye Toe: No rubbing, no pinching, and reinforcement in the right places: that’s what Bye Bye Toe’s slip promises its wearers. Solation: The concept of tenant electricity is about delivering electricity generated on the roof of a residential building or in its immediate vicinity directly to the tenants of the building. This way, locally generated electricity from renewable sources can be used directly on site, which is not only meant to decentralize the power grid. Tenant electricity is also meant to be an incentive for building owners to install solar systems on the roofs of their buildings. However, high administrative barriers make this difficult.
